NissanConnectSM Navigation System Basics
The NissanConnectSM Navigation System brings all the information you need to navigate the city to your fingertips. The map and features regularly update to provide real-time map displays and inform you of any traffic delays caused by closed roads or accidents. Additionally, to the map display, there is also available voice instructions to help make sure your eyes are always on the road. The navigation system turns on when the ignition is in the ACC or ON positions. You can also access the Nissan map by pressing on the map button located on the left-hand side of the Driver Information Interface or DII.
NissanConnectSM Navigation System Settings
There are many basic features and settings that will help you use the navigation system with ease. In the Nissan Maxima, for instance, most of the navigation functions can be accessed by touching the navigation on the launch bar and then using the touchscreen to access a particular feature. In some Nissan vehicles like the Rogue, to adjust the navigation settings, press “Settings” on the touch screen and then “Navigation” and then select “Map Settings” to change the orientation of the map. Touch “Guidance” to adjust the guidance volume or to turn other guidance features like voice and traffic announcement on or off. The Speed Limit Indication allows you to turn the speed limit indication on or off. You can also change the speed limit sensitivity, store or access location and routes in the system, customize points of interest and delete locations and routes through the Address Book.
